As always Caren is playing her vintage steel string 00 Martin guitar, perfect for this type of traditional music!

Of all the seventh chords, perhaps the most important is the dominant seventh. Our song today will use ALL dominant 7th chords, a device very common to the blues genre. The Dominant 7th chord is full of tension and constantly seeks resolution, and yet in this form it's used continually to create a classic harmonic sound that identifies that we are playing The Blues!
