Next up is our chorus, which sees the song take some interesting twists and turns. We start strumming our acoustic with some cool hits, and even kick into double time before bringing the song back down.

The chorus is the same chord progression, hits, and dynamic shifts all three times you hear it in the song.

II D - G D - D - G D - D - D - G - G - Emi - A7 - D - D II

Our first two bars are repeated twice, with G coming in at the top of the second bar phrase. You will then play the second on the "and" of beat two. After you play the first two bars, you will kick into double time for two bars playing our D chord with the rest of the band playing eighth notes.

When we hit G for the next two bars, the dynamic comes way down and we play the same melody we have played throughout the song with our major7th in the mix. We then switch to Emi, to A7 strumming each chord for one bar each before leading into the end of our chorus which is a refrain back to our main melody on D.
