There are 2 guitar layers in this song. Guitar 1 is the main jazzy guitar playing throughout the tune. Guitar 2 is an acoustic guitar that strums throughout much of the song and adds some sparkle while fleshing out the arrangement.

The song starts off on the chorus with a sneaky, Latin-jazz esque groove. The verse kicks into a jazz-influenced chord progression with plenty of cool chords and fingerstyle plucking. The acoustic strums along in this section with open chords and barre chords that outline the progression.

There is a bridge section that changes feels completely, and adds a static drone chord progression that sounds like a spy thriller. The guitars play interlocking parts that add up to a cool sound.

The solo section sees Guitar 1 comping more freely with some great melodic parts interwoven into the progression, then handing things over to the flute to finish it all off!

To play this tune using one guitar, simply play Guitar 1 throughout.

In the following lessons, we'll talk about fingerstyle chord comping, extended, jazzy chords and triads, steady acoustic strums and a Latin-jazz influenced groove. We are in the key of E minor, with a 4/4 time signature, at a tempo of 134 BPM.
