Our B section happens once in the song, taking the chord progression in a new and interesting direction creating a nice sense of mystery as to where the song is heading. This section is eight bars long and does a great job of leading us right back to our A section.

The chord progression for our B section is:

|| Ami D5 - Ami F - Ami D5 - Ami D - Ami F - C B - Emi7 Eb - Dmi7 G+ ||

We keep things nice and simple for the first five bars, simply switching from Ami to D and sometimes to F (and these two chords are very closely related.) You want to keep the third out of the D chord the first two times you play it, but you do sneak it in the third time to match the vocal melody.

At the top of the sixth bar, this is where things get interesting. We play two beats of C major using a barre chord, followed by two beats of B major again as a barre chord. After that we begin a chromatic progression from Emi7 to Eb to Dmi7 and each each chord you strum just once or add some arpeggios if you like. We will then end this part playing a similar lick to our intro with our G augmented chord.

With a twisting and turning chord progression, this section does a great job of taking us into our next A section.
