I'm using a Les Paul electric guitar for this song, but any electric guitar will work great here. Just be sure to use the bridge pickup for a bright, clear tone.

As far as amps go, any Fender-style tube amp is a fine choice. Set the amp for a clean sound with a touch of grit. Set the Drive to 50%, Bass to 45%, Mid to 45%, Treble to 70%, and Presence to 75%.

For effects, Guitar 1 uses a tremolo that adds nicely to the vibe of the tune. Guitar 2 uses a treble booster to give a bit more saturation and sustain, as well as a slapback echo for a cool lead sound. Add some reverb for depth.

I used a 10-46 string gage, with a heavy pick so I can dig right into those licks and fills and get agressive with it!

Here are the settings I used:

Fender Deluxe Model:
Drive: 50% Bass: 45% Mid: 45% Treb: 70% Presence: 75%
Tremolo (Guitar 1):
Rate: 75% Intensity: 45%
Treble Booster (Guitar 2):
Gain: 60% Tone: 50%
Slapback Echo (Guitar 2):
Time: 100ms Feedback: 10% Wet/DryMIX: 25%
Spring Reverb:
WetDryMIX: 45%
