I'm playing this song on a steel string acoustic guitar today, but I think it would also sound nice on a classical or nylon string guitar. Probably would not use and electric, but I will note here that the background electric guitar uses a clean tone and a carefully timed tremolo, with a pulse that matches the rhythm of the song.

We'll be playing a very specific arpeggio type finger pick today, do yourself a favor and make sure that the nails on your right hand are carefully groomed, you'll get better tone if your nails are all the same length and can move easily across the strings.

Terminology:

Ritardandos (a gradual decrease in tempo):
1) last bar of intro, just before 1st verse
2) last bar of bridge 1
3) last bar of bridge 2
4) outro

Inversion (a chord with a note other than the root in the bass)
example: E/G# = E Major triad with the 3rd in the bass
