Any acoustic guitar is suitable to play along with this tune, but an acoustic with a brighter tone will help cut through the band a bit better.

A Telecaster guitar is the absolute go-to electric guitar choice for this song. The tele provides a bright, spanky tone perfect for a country classic like this. If you don't have access to a tele, any guitar with a single coil picking up the bridge position can roughly approximate the tone.

As far as amps go, any Fender-style tube amp is a fine choice. Set the amp for a bright clean sound. Guitar 2 uses a sweeping flanger effect to add some texture to the mix. Add some reverb for depth.

For the electric, I used a 10-46 string gage, with a heavy pick so I can dig right into those licks and fills and get spanky with it!

Here are the settings I used:

Fender Deluxe Model:
Drive: 30% Bass: 45% Mid: 45% Treb: 70% Presence: 75%
Rate: 20% Depth: 45% Wet/DryMIX: 40%
Spring Reverb:
WetDryMIX: 45%
