I'm playing a Les Paul style guitar for this song, but any guitar with a humbucker pickup in the bridge position is suitable. The humbucker provides plenty of clarity and power, perfect to laying into aggressive single note riffs and power chord based progressions.

As far as amps go, any Marshall style tube amp is a great choice. Dial in a thick crunch tone, and roll down the gain for Guitar 2 since a cleaner sound is required. Set the bass to 45%, mid to 55%, treble to 60%, and presence to 65%. Add some reverb for depth.

For the electric, I used a 10-46 string gage, with a heavy pick so I can dig right into those tough sounding riffs! Guitar 3 requires a slide to play those killer slide fills.
Here are the settings I used:

Marshall Plexi Model:
Drive: 100% Bass: 45% Mid: 55% Treb: 60% Presence: 65%
Guitar 2 - set Drive to 45%
Spring Reverb:
WetDryMIX: 45%
