As you may have already noticed, "Sold Me Down The River" is played with one guitar throughout the whole song. There's not even a rhythm guitar under the solo, just all single guitar, all the time. That being said, we can already look at the full play a long as a single guitar performance. However, if you want to just play rhythm during the solo that is where I will provide an alternative.

During the four bars leading into the solo, simply let the low strings ring for those bars. Then, for the next eight simply play our motif over the D7. You will play this four times. After that, you are into the pre-chorus changes and at that point you will simply play the same parts that we learned in that lesson.

Work out the solo as best you can, but if it's still a challenge stick to the guitar parts I just mentioned for a single guitar performance.

Have fun and thanks for watching!
