Guitar #2 continues playing on the 2 and 4, but for our chorus we change up the chords quite a bit. Even through the turnarounds you will still play on the same beat really tying the song together.

With Guitar #2, we can follow the chord progression much better as we are outlining the tonality of the song on the 2 and 4. We are playing voicings of the following chords:

D6 - D7 - G - E7 - A7

You then simply follow the chord progression and play each chord for the appropriate amount of time, keeping it on the 2 and 4.

At the end of the song, you will end on the D chord not hammering on the B, which is the 6th you have been playing throughout the track. This helps make the ending song and consonant.
