Now the feel is more on the beat, and the verse grooves on beats 1 & 3 in a loose slow swing for the first 3 bars.

In the 4th line chords change, A Major on beat 1, coming home early again (like the intro) for the D Major chord.

I will again draw attention to places in the bar where extra licks/moves might likely work this time working with the moves around the D chord in the left hand. This uses ornamentations based on the D major chord called Dsus4 and Dsus2.
