Now we'll check out the bridge of the song, which is 8 bars long. The bridge is distinguished from the verses immediately by starting on the F# minor chord. The vocal increase and the chords come more quickly, moving fluidly from the key of Em back to the key of G. The walking bass adds a beautiful counterpoint to the melody.

Here we start right off with that II-V movement with F#m and B7 that we had in the verses. We also see this II-V movement at the end of the phrase with Am and D.
