There are 2 distinct electric guitar layers in this tune. Guitars 1 and 3 feature a thick, beefy rock tone, so a Les Paul style guitar, or any guitar with a humbucker pickup in the bridge position is a great choice. Guitar 2 features a very clean and sparkly tone, so any guitar with a single coil pickup in the bridge position is suitable.

As far as amps go, any cranked up Marshall style tube amp is a great choice. Dial in a thick crunch sound, and add a touch of reverb for depth. Guitar 2 uses a much cleaner tone, so turn the amp gain down or turn your guitar volume down to clean things up. For the solo, you may want to add an overdrive or distortion pedal for added sustain. Add a touch of reverb for some depth. Here are the settings I used:

Marshall Plexi (Guitar 1, 3): Drive: 95% Bass: 45% Mid: 50% Treb: 55% Presence: 65%

Guitar 2 set Drive to 25%

Spring Reverb: WetDryMIX: 40%
