A Les Paul style guitar is the perfect choice for this song, but any guitar with a humbucker pickup in the bridge position is suitable. The humbucker provides plenty of clarity and power perfect for crunchy riffing and soloing.

As far as amps go, any cranked up Marshall style tube amp is a great choice. Dial in a thick crunch sound, and add a touch of reverb for depth. Guitar 1 also uses a slap back delay effect. For guitar 2, kick in a distortion or overdrive pedal to give more sustain for soloing. Here are the settings I used:

Marshall Plexi: Drive: 75% Bass: 55% Mid: 50% Treb: 55% Presence: 55%

Slap Back Echo: Time: 110ms Feedback: 15% Wet/DryMIX: 35%

Spring Reverb: WetDryMIX: 40%
