The pre-chorus and chorus sections feature more great riffing. First off, the pre-chorus uses a simple F, G chord progression in the Chuck Berry style strumming. A solo drum groove separates the pre-chorus and chorus.

When the chorus hits, there's more single strum A chord, then root5-root6 rhythms with the D and E chords. Watch out for some of the timing here: the chorus starts on an anticipation (and-of-4), but the next times around you hit the A chord on the second beat of the measure.
