After the intro, the band sets the fast tempo and launches right into the chorus. The tune is in "cut time", which means we feel and count the pulse in a more relaxed way, even though the tempo is fast. The first strum of each bar focuses on the lower part of the chord, while the rest of the strums target the higher notes.

Note the progression at the end of each chorus that features 3 bars of B7 then 3 bars of E. The only variation occurs at the end of the first chorus, when we only play 2 bars of E leading into the verse.

Also look out for that single note line at the end of the intro. It ascends the E major scale from B to E, launching us into the chorus.
