The chorus modulates up to G and features more cool riffing. On the G chord, you once again hear the lydian sound (C# note), and it is very much in the vein of Jimmy Page. There's a cool hooky melody here with the C#, D, and B notes against the G chord.

The move to B minor is accompanied with some straight ahead strumming. The last time through you move down to an A5add#4 chord to lead us out of the chorus into the next section.

The open and spacious sounding chorus gives a nice contrast to the frantic feeling created by the verse section.
