Now we are ready to play the guitar solo. Guitar #1 will play the same part as our verses, while Guitar #2 plays a guitar solo using a variety of cool licks and bends. Here are some key points to help you out:

1. The solo is 16 bars long, and can be broken up into four 4 bar sections.

2. The solo starts off with a descending melody that plays a mixture of sixths and fifths with hammer-on melody from B to C, and ends with a C5 over the C chord.

3. Next the we will play a melody revolving around A, F#, and an open E string followed by another hammer-on from F# to G to E. This part then resolves to a sixth (B, G) over the G chord.

4. You will then play a series of bends, starting from E to D on the B string then doing the same whole step bend from A to B on the G string. You will play the same melody as one of our verse licks, playing G to A to E over the C chord. Lastly, you will do another bend from G to A on the G string playing it twice and resolving to G.

5. The last lick is a pedal steel type of bend, playing a high G but bending the D underneath to and E and back. You will then play D and F#, then resolve to C and F#. The final lick will be an octave higher version of our ending verse lick, descending from C to G.
