Now let me show you how to work on the minor pentatonic scale with the metronome. The most basic thing to do is to run the scales up/down at a comfortable tempo and then use the "up 2/down 1" method to slowly improve your technique. But I'm also going to show you some other fun exercises you can do with your metronome to master the minor and major pentatonic scales.

I hope this tutorial has given you a good understanding of how to be creative with any new vocabulary you learn - whether it's notes, scales, or licks. You learn all that from teachers, your favorite records, and other guitar players; but once you've learned something new, you have to improvise with it and make it your own, not just recite it note-for-note! I hope this tutorial has given you a good idea of how to go about this, so keep up the good work.
