The electric guitar plays power chord shapes with some steady palm muted strumming. The dynamic here is low, as we're in the verse and we are letting the vocal and lyric take center stage. Note the accents on the strums that give the part some texture.

The lick in the middle of the verse is a simple one, and is commonly heard in many country songs. The slight bend on the F# note is pure country.

The dynamic bumps up just a touch in the quick pre-chorus section, then you'll build on the V chord (B), ramping things up for the chorus.
