Snake Charmer Licks

The first lick in our example 3 uses the phrygian mode of the "snake charmer" scale. In this example we'll use it like Blackmore would by winding our way down the scale, emphasizing it's altered notes, using hammer-ons, pull-offs, and slippery, sliding position shifting that is so stereotypical of his soloing style. Notice also that we'll play the scale pattern in two slightly different ways in two different octaves.
