This song features 3 guitar layers, and each guitar is a different choice to support each layer. Guitar 1 is an acoustic guitar. Any acoustic with a bright shimmery tone is a great choice to cut through the rhythm section. You’ll also need to put a capo on the 3rd fret.

Guitar 2 is a guitar with single coil pickups, a great choice for the gritty and jangly rhythm work in the upper register. You'll also need the capo for this layer (6th fret).

Guitar 3 uses humbucker pickups that provide more lower register clarity and power, perfect for the single note hooks throughout the tune. No capo is required for guitar 3's parts.

For amps, any vintage tube amp will work great here. Turn up the pre-amp gain to get some light crunch. Guitar 3 uses a rotary speaker effect in the re-intro and outro sections. The effect gives an "underwater" type sound to the single note melody being played.

There's also echo used on both electric guitars, to support the contemplative, dreamy mood. Check out the settings I used:
