First let's talk a little bit about the guitar tones that I'm using to imitate this song

For the main acoustic guitar part I'll be using my Martin-style steel-string acoustic. You can play this song on nylon strings as well, but strumming in this style of music always sounds best on steel strings, in my opinion. I use a medium pick because it sounds great for strumming. Thinner picks can be really easy to use, but they also sound kinda thin. Thicker picks sound great for single notes, but they get a little intense when you strum.

For the electric guitar part I'll be using my Telecaster and I'll be running it through a modeled fender amp with a little bit of reverb. I'm using my bridge pickup to get that bright "nasaly" country sound, and in order to prevent it too much treble I've rolled off a little high end on the amp.

Other than that, it's as always, all in how you play the parts!
