GUITAR: This song features a nice shimmering clean tone best achieved by any guitar with single coil pickups such as a Stratocaster or Telecaster.

AMP: Any guitar amp with a clean setting dialed in will work well here. Just be sure to dial in some nice high end to approximate the shimmery quality of the recording. Here is the amp setting I used for this tutorial:

CLEAN: (Fender Bassman model) Drive: 45% Bass: 50% Mid: 70% Treble: 75% Presence: 75%

You'll hear a lush, swirling effect on the main riff parts of the song. Use a phaser or flanger to provide this thick and dreamy texture. You can also add some reverb and echo, and use these liberally throughout the entire song, as it can really thicken up the sound. I also add a touch more gain to the main riff sections and the outro solo guitar, just to make the notes punchier. Check out my settings:

FLANGER: Speed: 1.2Hz Depth: 22% Wet/DryMix: 50%

DELAY: Time: 444ms Fdbck: 45% Wet/DryMix: 30%

DELAY For Outro GUITAR 2: Time: 222ms Fdbck: 50% Wet/DryMix: 40%

PLATE REVERB: Wet/Dry: 40%
