The bridge opens up wide and features a clean guitar motif using single notes and open strings. In the first half, the picking rhythm is similar to the first verse, but played with a little less strict and more relaxed approach. Note the interesting choice of the D note over the A chord, creating a sus4 sound.

The second half, play that single note melody in 7th position, keeping the notes even and consistent. Note the variation that occurs the second time through.

Next, hit your crunch guitar to play that E power chord in the 7th position that leads into the band break. Here, you switch back to your clean sound and play steady 16th notes on the low E string with some palm muting, broken up by the crunch guitar returning on the bVI power chord with the snare drum.
