A synthesizer plays an interesting melody all through the last verse section, and it's even cooler when you adapt it for guitar.

The part starts off by alternating between the II note (B) at the 16th fret of the G string and the bIII note (C) at the 13th fret of the B string. Leave these notes ringing; this really provides some tension that catches the listener's ear. The descending run to end the motif provides a nice release and resolution.

Play this section with very light palm muting to dampen the notes slightly, making the part become a subtle texture rather than a featured melody.
