After the second chorus the song modulates and changes key for a little bit.

What's actually going on here is the chords change to Bmaj7
and E; play this three times and then go to D to E. On this E chord the second guitar is doing this little leading tone melody leading into the solo section.

You'll start by hammering on with your middle finger on the 4th fret of the high E string, then up a half step with your pinky, then back down to the fourth fret again and then the chord changes to G.

For the solo you'll simply play G to D and then end on A to really nicely set up the last verse.

A lot of cool stuff harmonically; try to keep up with the changes and always remember to keep the rhythm consistent!
