The next four lessons will focus on the main sections of the of the song where the singing occurs. This song doesn't really have a standard verse/chorus format. Instead, each section is designed to support the lyrical content.

The first of these, or section A as we'll refer to it, features a single note motif in the key of A major. This is a 16 bar section that first plays in unison with the bass (on the 1 and "and" of 2), then harmonizes with the bass (the B note is the major 3 of G, and the A note is the 5 of D). Repeat this riff 4 times.
