The pre-chorus, which is heard twice in "Stellar", is a simple four bar phrase that does a great job of building the dynamics into our chorus. It features a two chord progression, switching between two power chords that also include the low 5th played on the low E string. This helps make this section sound nice and full and helps build the dynamic into our chorus. Here are some key points to remember while playing this short but important section:

Key Points:
1. This section requires quite a bit of distortion with I am playing it with the pick up switch on the neck position and switching the guitar to dual humbucker.

2. The distorted tone is a very modern distortion (ala MESA BOOGIE DUAL RECTIFIER.)

3. The two chords are D5 with an A in the bass (D5/A), and a B5 with a F# in the bass (B5/F#.) Both chords follow the rhythm section rhythm wise.
