In our first section I'm going to cover the guitar parts in both the first and second verse of our track. There are two key parts to this section, once featuring some really cool sliding chord bends and another that plays an almost angular guitar riff around a C# minor chord. This song is all about the details, and these key points will help you play through it in no time.

Key Points:
1. The guitar tone is clean with a slight reverb, with the pickup selection on the neck pickup (in this video I am using a single coil / coil tap)

2. The chord intervals are played in fourths on the D and G strings, and you need to bend 2nd and 3rd voicings to get the vibe of the part.

3. The C# minor riff in the verses has two parts that switch back and fourth. The first verse plays one way, and the second reverses the order. These riffs are also heard in the chorus so make sure and get them down!

4. The first verse plays through the progression 3 times complete (featuring both riffs), and the last time it just plays the first round before hitting the pre-chorus. The second verse plays through the progression 4 times complete (ending on the same riff).
