The form is:
6 measures of the I chord (D)
8 measures of the V chord (A)
2 measures of the I chord (D)
When the song changes keys, the form remains the same even though we change the chords to the I and V chord in Eb Major. The I chord is Eb Major and the V chord is Bb Major, both barre chords played at the 6th fret.
The strum pattern is the same throughout the song. Learn it solidly before attempting to play with the recording because it is sometimes difficult to hear with 3 guitars and a piano in the mix. It's an easy strum pattern, though, and it provides a solid rhythmic grounding that locks in with the bass and drums.
I find it quite easy (so far!) to navigate, and found the "where do I start" to be very helpful! I'm getting there!!
I LOVE the forum, too. I've never been one to use forums, but the GT forum is full of great people and helpful information at ALL levels! Congrats on a WONDERFUL site!!Good job!
