Sticking to our little surf song, there's a typical part you'll hear underneath the melody using palm muting and alternate picking. Notice how the rhythm is slightly different in the B7 to C part, over the E minor and A minor, the rhythm stays steady and at the turnaround a more Spanish flamenco style rhythm is played that compliments the other rhythm guitar. When we get to the solo section of the song the rhythm guitar goes into kind of a rockabilly feeling rhythm.
