We'll learn the stacked fourths to outline the scale and then play them over a backing track. By using the E Minor Pentatonic scale, we have a basis for Melody, by stacking fourths we accentuate Harmony, and by using muted and accented pick hand patterns we incorporate Rhythm. These are the 3 main components to my playing.
For you harmony sticklers, you'll notice I'm not sticking to strict pentatonics or modes in my fourth voicings. I keep a "constant structure" approach to these chords and stack the fourths as pure fourth intervals found in the position on the neck where I'm playing. Have fun!
I find it quite easy (so far!) to navigate, and found the "where do I start" to be very helpful! I'm getting there!!
I LOVE the forum, too. I've never been one to use forums, but the GT forum is full of great people and helpful information at ALL levels! Congrats on a WONDERFUL site!!Good job!
