In this lesson we are again looking at an A major scale with the root note A at the bottom of the hand position. This means that the note A will be played by the index finger and the other notes will be played on higher fretboard positions.

Likewise, when we move to higher octaves, we will simply repeat the pattern in the next octave. Hence, my phrase patterns of repeating octaves.
