In this tutorial we will learn a simple version of 'Take Me Out To The Ball Game', the classic American tune about baseball by Albert Von Tilzer and Jack Norworth. First we will learn the single note melody of the tune. Then we will add some harmony notes and make a simple full arrangement.

Notice the song is in 3/4 time. This means we will be counting to 3 over and again. 1, 2, 3, 1, 2, 3 and so on. This song is also in C major. So, most of the notes will be naturals. But there are a few accidentals in there to make it interesting! We can play the entire melody in the first position. This means we only have to use open string notes and notes in the first four frets.

This is the time to look over the score notation and take your time to crefully learn and map out the placement of the notes on the fretboard and in time (rhythmically).
