Setting Up Your Delay

The first thing you need to do is set up your delay pedal.

First of all, use a clean to slightly overdriven tone on your amp. If you use too much distortion, you'll lose the effect.

Always put your delay AFTER any distortion in the chain.

Your basic functions on the pedal are:

1.) Echo - sets the volume of the repeats.
2.) Repeats - Determines how many times the note will repeat. From 1 to Infinity.
3.) Tempo - Speed of the repeats.

Next, we'll look at how to customize these.
