Dominant 7th chords are used in just about every style of music in some way shape or form. In our examples using rock rhythm, we are going to play these new chords in open position. Taking the D, A, and E major chords we already know, let's add one additional note to each of these, making them now D7, A7, and E7. With our introduction to 7th chords complete, let's play each of these chords in the blue rock style of Keith Richards (The Rolling Stones.)
