In our next example, we are going to explore our first of many power chord alternatives. These chords are referred to in the guitar community as many things; including add2, add9, sus2, 2, stacked power chords, double power chords, etc. With our examples, we are going to refer to these chords as power chords with an added 2nd, or simply add2. Let's try adding a 2nd to these E, D, and C power chords on the A string, playing in the rhythmic style of Andy Summers (The Police.)
