Adding an extension to your already existing power chord is a classic example of chord embellishment. The power chord is unarguably the most used chord within rock guitar, and amongst a wide array of players it is played in this rhythmic style. In this example, we are going to play this variation switching between an E power chord (E,B), and a B power chord (B, F#.) You can play this rhythmically in many ways, and with this example we will demonstrate it in the style of Chuck Berry.
