Putting it all together, we will now take the major triads and inversions of D major and play them on all four string groupings. Be patient with this process and be sure to focus on the notes of the triad (D, F#, and A,) along with the shapes you have learned in this chapter. Being able to stretch these chord shapes across the neck of the guitar showcases the potential and diversity in the use of minor triads and their inversions in rock rhythm guitar.
