In this lesson we are going to use notes from the C major scale to get back and forth between two chords: C major chord and A minor chord.

This is a technique that is used very frequently in all styles of music. We are focusing on two separate but related things with this lesson.

1. Acquiring the physical skill necessary to switch back and forth between playing multiple notes (holding and strumming a chord) and single notes (holding and picking the scale notes).
2. Understanding that we are combining chords and scales together in the same exercise and musical example for the first time.
