Definition for: Bass-strum style

A strumming style involving plucking a bass note then strumming the chord. This can involve repeatedly picking the root bass note, but often involves alternating between the root and the fifth. To play an alternating bass strum style for C major, you would pluck the C note, strum the chord, then pluck the G and strum it again.
