Modes (authentic)

The Dorian, Phrygian, Lydian and Mixolydian modes, commonly associated with Gregorian chants. Modes are collections of intervals, rather than collections of pitches. Authentic modes have their lowest note as the last one, and are the odd-numbered modes.
