Hi
walked into a pub The Blue Last in London and was pleasantly surprised by this young band. I think they are based in London.
They have a few things on YouTube worth checking and also a website.
Isn't the internet wonderful when you can see an unheard band then go home and check them out.

Hi Hatikva,
I just typed in the name of the band Delta/Alaska in google and it came up with a few tracks.
They are only a young band from London I think, but they have a raucous interesting sound and they were good live I just saw them by chance and was pleasantly surprised.

Cheers Phil.

You re from New Zealand so what has happened to the D4 ?

Hi Phil

Thanks for that I'll have a look at it.
I'm really new to guitar so it'll be good to listen to them.
The D4, I did not even know about them! sorry. Smilie

Thanks Again

Japan has little concert halls that are called "live houses". They're interesting. The nice thing about them is that they already have amps and a drumset for you to use there. On the other hand, you don't get paid to play but instead must PAY TO PLAY. So there are TONS of bands that never make money here. Good for audiences but bad for bands.
