Are Kramer guitars any good?

My brother bought a Kramer baretta bass and it sound pretty sweet and Im looking for a guitar that I can seriously do damage with and I was wonderening if Kramer is any good so please tell me.

Not keen on em at all.

The BC Rich warlock can do real damage and look the part.
which in't bad cos I am a strat player but own a warlock in red with floyed rose licenced.

Yes, they are very good. I currently own 3 of them (I had another, but I sold it): a Striker FR422 a Baretta FX404S, and a Vanguard Pro (my baby). They are without a doubt the best valued guitars around today, and I'd gladly take them over an Ibanez or low to mid range import Jackson (the Pro series competes with the high end ones though). You won't find a better deal on a comparable axe, and ther customer service is pretty good if you need to make a return or something. Just keep in mind that any guitar sent through the mail (especially one with a recessed Floyd Rose) may need a good setup when you get it.
I personally didn't like the import BC riches I've played on. They look cool, but they play & sound bad IMO.
