You may have to convert it into a .wav file first then it will be easy.

Ok first up what software package are you using ?

There may be an option to either "save as" a wave file or to "export" as a wav file. Either will do. Or there may be an option called "bounce".

the easiest thing to do is to burn the wav file to a "Music" CD. The all you do is put the CD back in your computer, put in the song title and artist name and rip it the way you normally would. Then search for the the song name you just entered.

And this is the MP3 !!

Any program like iTunes (Mac or PC) or real player will be able to do this. Don't forget you can alter the type of file the song is converted into and the quality (size) of the file in the "preferences" panel of these programs.

Maybe a little late, but there's a free program called "CDex" that works pretty good. You can get it here I think. All you do is click wave-->mp3 select the files and then click convert. Pretty simple to set up too.
