My name here is rudi8; Rudi in real life and 55! (already)

I live in Belgium at the dutch side of the country together with my adorable wife Linda.

After about 20y or so I picked up my guitar again. Back in those days learning guitar was not as easy as it is now and quitted after a couple of weeks. The easy internet connection and a mass of free guitar lessons made a huge differente for me.

About 5 months ago I quit smoking and started to play again.

Since a couple of days I started with Guitar Tricks (after checking out the pro’s and cons on the net of most known learning sites).

Hopefully I will take great pleasure in paying for this site.

Excuses for evt. writing faults.

Best regards

Hi rudi8,

I'm so happy you're continuing to learn guitar, and doing so with us at Guitar Tricks. I hope you do find the website useful and fun. Also, congratulations on quitting smoking, it's a tough thing to do.

Anyways, as with anything, take it slow, and make sure you learn how to play the right way. And don't forget to have fun!

Let us know if you have any questions.

Hello rudi. You might not understand but you are a motivation for the young ones. Your never too old attitude is very encouraging not just for playing guitar but as a moto for living life. I don't get much time to practice my guitar as well now a days after i am home from my assignment writing service. Your post have given me that kick start hope again and i thank you for that.

The guitar is special because before technology it takes place this instrument is adaptable. It can play like a bandit can play alone and serenade. If you want to become a really dynamic and excellent guitarist achieving a level of excellence in that can be more difficult than any of those.Online Essay Writing Service UK

Welcome to Guitar Tricks my friend, you will definitely enjoy this sight. The instructors are fantastic! I started really getting serious about my guitar about a year ago, do my best to pick it up everyday. I'm 59 and really just love picking my 6 string. As they say you are never too old buddy. Enjoy GT and again welcome.
