f chord
Anybody have tips for getting this chord down? Ive been playing for 3 months but no f or b. :(

Start making the E chord with your 3ed, 4th and 5th fingers. Get so you can make it sound right. Then move your fingers up to where they should be to make an F. Now all you have to fight is your first finger and the new angle you have to hold your hand at. Try different angles.

5th finger? As in your thumb? I don't think so...Going to assume you meant 2,3,4.

I made up a AM Barre chord progression, Am G F E it's easy, sounds kinda cool and helped me get barre chords down. I played this for hours and hours. Clamp Strum unclamp slide Clamp strum etc etc.....

Thanks all...I can now make the f that uses finger 1 on 1 and 2 strings 1st fret, finger 2 on 3rd string 2nd fret and finger 3 on 4th string 3rd fret. There was a helful video on youtube that advised me to use the outside of my index finger. I'm gettin' there!
