Who out there has ever heard of G3? As a guitarist, you better have. G3 included three of the best guitarists on Earth... Joe Satriani, Eric Johnson, and Steve Vai. Whatever happened to them?!?! They were awesome. If anyone knows about them, tell me please. I would love to hear some more about them. I recently got the G3 DVD, but that's only about an hour and a half of stuff. Please?

As far as I know G3 still tours. The first tour had Kenny Wayne Shepard instead of Johnson, though. And all three of the people you mentioned have numerous albums out. I think Eric Johnson only has 2 or 3 because he works on his music for years before it's released. But Vai and Satch have tons of other stuff.
Ain't nothin' but a Gear thang, baby!

Hey, thanks man. I love Satch's stuff. I've got a couple of his CDs and man, he can wail. New Blues is an awesome song, so is Crush of Love. Haven't heard much of Johnson's stuff, though. And Vai plays some of the best 7-string I have ever heard.
