Really enjoying the intro sessions so far with Lisa McCormack. We are stuck in COVID curfew in Melbourne Australia so this has been really giving me something to look forward to each day. I am 52 and have mucked around with chords forever just using my thumb to strum but have no idea of strumming techniques, using a pick or playing notes etc. The one thing I can do is get my fingers in position quickly for open chords and bar chords while getting a clean sound on each string so all that mucking about wasn't a complete waste of time. I have finally learnt what playing chords in key means but have now hit a bit of a wall with the hit and miss strumming business. I am in no rush. I enjoy it every night and have learnt more in two weeks then the last twenty years!! My nine year old son has also been watching and playing some of the tabs I printed so a double bonus.
